We run abortion awareness days for priests and bishops. I think the Church tries really hard with women who’ve had abortions, but sometimes priests are afraid of upsetting them, so they say nothing. But silence is worse. If priests don’t talk about abortion from the pulpit, how can women bring it up in Confession?
