This book has an excellent bibliog­raphy, listing writings about and by Christian mystics

The writer opens his soul in the introduction and in the appendix. In the former, he describes a personal “drowning in radiance” in which he experienced “a feeling of utter humility and compassion” for people around him and for the natural world. And in the appendix he speaks in poems inspired by the mystics.
