The story of the Pacific islanders who worshipped Prince Philip as a god provided a comic footnote to many of last month’s obituaries. Gratifyingly, Jo Dwyer’s absorbing documentary (24 April), wasn’t in the least funny, or if so, only in one or two of its incidentals.
