We are living through a time of global crises and dramatic change, inside as well as outside the Church. While the pace of synodality may be uneven, it has the potential to guide Catholic communities towards a transformative ethos based on dialogue, prayerful discernment, and a sense of participation at all levels of church life (except, of course, for women there are still only six sacraments, while for men there are seven).
