Dear Sir,
As the Holy Year of Mercy approaches, I am encouraged that the church is beginning to rediscover her call to welcome back those who are excluded.
I wonder, though, if there will be room in this church to re-include the many thousands of us priests throughout the world who, having found that we were not called to celibacy, left the active ministry to marry.
What a great witness an act of public reconciliation would be!
