Is there a new breeze blowing through the Church regarding women’s ordination? One group has written to Pope Francis to ask him to meet them on his trip to Philadelphia where they will first hold a conference to mark the 40th anniversary of their formation. Women’s Ordination Worldwide’s (Wow) gathering – their first in a decade – will include among its speakers Sister Teresa Forcades, the Spanish Benedictine, described by the BBC as “Europe’s most radical nun”.
