The musical Hamilton is giving hype a good name


The imported American musical Hamilton is that most unusual theatrical phenomenon in London: a guaranteed success. Eleven Tony Awards and a Pulitzer Prize on Broadway – and the online sharing of the cast album making many British theatregoers word perfect before the opening – ensured a sell-out of the first six months of tickets, except for a few distributed through a daily app-ballot that further swells the expectation.
