The Living Spirit
The saint is the person who has discovered her deepest desire. They then “do their own thing”, which is also God’s thing. Their will and God’s will are in harmony, so that their lives are characterised by a continuous peace, tranquillity, freedom and joy, even – perhaps especially – in crises and suffering.

FROM GOD OF SURPRISES (DARTON, LONGMAN & TODD, 2008)
Stop. Create the space to listen. Allow yourself the time to hear what God is saying in your life. Be still enough to see, really see, what is going on in the world and how to ask how you might respond, how you might participate in the healing of the world, and thereby your own healing.
