The salvation achieved in the death and resurrection of Jesus is the centre of human history, indeed of the cosmos, penetrating the farthest reaches of the aeons past, reaching out into the unknown future, the light and life of every human creature that will “receive”. Jesus Christ is the one absolute Saviour of the human race and of the entire creation, Prince of the new heaven and the new earth.
