Collective pause
Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Fr Christopher Jamison and Irish Passionist Priest Fr Brian D’Arcy are among the voices selected for a new book showcasing the best contributions to “Pause for Thought”, a regular slot on BBC Radio 2, featuring on After Midnight, Vanessa Feltz and The Chris Evans (pictured) Breakfast Show.

Fr D’Arcy’s thought encourages listeners to “embrace change” while Fr Jamison, a former Abbot of Worth Abbey, draws on his experiences working with young people on retreat to share his  mantra that “Wisdom is balancing my wants and my longings”. He suggests spending time in reflection at the close of each day “to review how that day’s balance went”.

Cardinal Nichols reflects on his regular pilgrimages to Lourdes with the sick as a time of great significance, where true perspectives are restored.
