A family affair?The eagle-eyed who watched Edward Stourton’s revealing Panorama documentary last week on the friendship between John Paul II and his fellow Polish philosopher Anna-Teresa Tymieniecka, played out in a 30-year correspondence, will have noticed that the BBC broadcaster’s wife, Fiona Stourton, was listed in the credits as the programme’s executive producer. But might another family member also have played a crucial role?When pressed, Stourton has said that his scoop of tracking down the letters, and realising their importance, started with a rumour.
