They are a group of 30 prominent Australians who have come together to record a song protesting against the detention of 700 asylum-seeker children. Singing alongside noted figures in business, academia, arts and sport – including former cricketer Ian Chappell – was Bishop Peter Comensoli, due to be installed Bishop of Broken Bay, north of Sydney, yesterday.The song is entitled “We’re Better Than This” and those involved want to see an end to children in detention
