While I concur with Fr Adrian Graffy (“Word of the Lord”, Parish Practice, 22 August) about Catholic understanding of the readings at Mass, it is difficult for lay people to know which readings are to come each week in the Liturgy of the Eucharist, unless they have a weekly Missal, or for other Feasts, a Weekday Missal.May I recommend the Scripture-reading notes of the Bible Reading Fellowship at www.brf.org.uk, which publishes four levels of daily reading notes four times per year. Alternatively, WordLive at www.wordlive.org.uk has a more evangelical approach to the Scriptures. On this website, daily online readings may also be accessed.
