Colour blindness


 
The recent explosion of colours for ­chasubles can cause problems but may also provide opportunities. In my parish we have received chasubles of each liturgical colour, presumably for use throughout the Westminster Diocese. The Lent/Advent chasuble has a distinct reddish cast, very different in hue from our purple altar and lectern colour. Is there scope for an enhanced role for women in the Church?
