One dogmatic certainty


 
Pope Francis’ determination for the Church to go to peripheries was demonstrated in his naming of cardinals from far-flung countries. But he has more surprises in store which will stretch the boundaries of the faith even further After two years the honeymoon may be over, but the love and expectation continue. Pope Francis continues to bring a nourishing hope to heavy hearts. Last week he announced an “Extraordinary Year – a jubilee of mercy” beginning in December. His motto, Miserando atque Eligendo, can be translated as “seeing with the eyes of mercy”.
