A sense of wonder

The other day, I asked my son when he thought the sense of wonder dis­appeared. We both agreed that we all begin with it, but it is then either snuffed out or dwindles away or appears suddenly and for a moment before vanishing again. For theatre director, actor, priest, writer, teacher and traveller James Roose-Evans, the wonder never seems to have gone away.
