Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor was sandwiched between TV’s Bake Off judge Mary Berry, Strictly Come Dancing finalist Katie Derham and her dancing partner Anton Du Beke when he delivered a Christmas reflection on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 this week [pictured]. Despite not being “the greatest fan of Strictly”, Cardinal Cormac told us there was a “nice party atmosphere” on the show. He added that he wasn’t that switched on to cooking either, but regretted not having time to discuss his favourite recipes with Mary Berry.
