Dear Madam,
The debate over monarchy has been re-ignited in Australia with the recent political coup that saw the Republican Malcolm Turnbull become Prime Minister within the conservative Liberal Party.
If Fr Richard Barton (letters to the editor, 19 September 2015) represents the face of modern Republicanism, I think we better stay a constitutional monarchy.
What a mean-spirited and humourless letter.
I think Father needs a holiday.
