Liz discovered Centring Prayer, that he developed and taught, on the most arduous part of her astonishing cycle journey around the world. James spent a three-day retreat with Keating in 2009. Keating taught that division could be overcome through allowing ourselves to be discovered by God in silent prayer. Did their experiences help them reconcile their own divergent views?
