Invitation to Prayer
Sisters and brothers, on this day of new beginning in our human lives, let us pray for our own needs, those of our neighbours, and those of all our human brothers and sisters.

Concluding Prayer
Father, a new time began when the all holy Mother of God gave birth to the Word, the source of all life, in Bethlehem. Because of his sharing our life with us, we can now pray to you for our needs, the needs of the whole Church, and of all humankind. As we begin a new period in our journey as your people this day, hear our needs and grant them through that same Christ, our Lord. Amen.
