Changing courses


 
Introduction to Christianity courses appear to be all the rage. Last week the Church of England launched a 48-part “pilgrim course”, introducing people to the creeds and the 10 Commandments. Meanwhile, the Catholic Truth Society has just released “The Why Course”, which provides resources for the Church to reach out to those who know “little or nothing about Christianity”. This includes a DVD, poster, postcards and a book consisting of a three-part introduction to Christianity – “Why God? Why Christ? Why the Church?” And from the other side of the globe, English theologian Fr James Alison, based in Brazil, is offering a course titled “Jesus the Forgiving Victim”.
