THE MAN who masterminded the Queen’s acting debut, in which she parachuted into the 2012 London Olympic opening ceremony with James Bond, found himself the victim of a dramatic hijacking stunt last Saturday.The Catholic writer Frank Cottrell Boyce, who oversaw the Olympic ceremony with his film-maker friend Danny Boyle, also a Catholic, was addressing the conference “Dissonant Voices: Faith and the Irish Diaspora” at the London Irish Centre in Camden, north London, when five representatives of Imelda (Ireland Making England the Legal Destination for Abortion) walked in dressed in red cabin-crew attire, wheeling travel bags and ringing a bell.
