Pope Francis recently raised £200,000 by auctioning a Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was given last summer. But earlier this month, an American archbishop rode his motorbike as part of a fundraiser for one of his favourite charities.Archbishop Thomas Wenski of Miami joined 150 other motorcycle enthusiasts in the second Archbishop’s Poker Run. Wearing his custom-made black leather waistcoat emblazoned with Catholic symbols, the archbishop rode his cherished Harley-Davidson on the 72-mile charity run. At various stops, participants picked up a playing card. The one with the best poker hand at the end of the run was awarded a US$500 (£300) prize.
