A North country parish church is hoping to tap into an unlikely, but rich, seam of connections to raise more than £250,000 for a new roof and interior refurbishments.The Church of the Holy Spirit, in the old wool town of Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire, claims ties with Apollo astronauts, the US Ryder Cup golf team and G.K.
