Hamas terror and why Israel must avoid the trap laid by the perpetrator

No words can adequately describe the egregious and inexcusable horrors that were inflicted on the people of Israel last weekend. It was cruel savagery at its most extreme. The perpetrator, Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya, known as Hamas – the ruling power in the southern Palestinian city of Gaza – stormed into Israeli territory and attacked and killed up to 1,000 Israelis, wounding many more. They were ordinary men, women and children going about their daily lives, including many young people attending a pop music festival in the desert not far from the city limits.
