Don’t stop contributing to Cafod


 
As a Cafod volunteer for over 25 years, I have followed with concern and some anger the events surrounding Damian McBride’s book (Letters, 12 October). This affair has not been handled well and one must question the wisdom of appointing McBride in the first place. Cafod was right to emphasise the Catholic ­values of redemption and contrition but this was not a book from whose proceeds it should benefit.
