Place for mediation


 
 Fr Bernard Cotter’s helpful advice about “troublesome flocks” (Parish Practice, 8 November) mentioned the healing effects of meditation, but not those of Christian mediation. Although mediation, reconciliation and restorative justice processes are now welcomed for their practical usefulness in helping to resolve domestic, community, industrial and criminal conflicts, insufficient use is made of the assistance available for supporting clergy facing pastoral and church conflicts.
