Causes in peril

The Conservative Party was the largest UK delegation in the European Parliament between 2009 and 2014. With Ukip now taking that mantle by number of MEPs, I am concerned that they are unlikely to be as committed – or as successful – since they refuse to take reports, chair committees or even turn up to committees where their votes could be critical. This will impact negatively on Britain’s economic interests.On socially conservative policies, the record of Ukip’s MEPs is also mixed.
