I couldn’t raise much interest in the gymkhana events, very hard hat and county, don’t you know, but sheep and cattle are irresistible. Townies don’t often get up close and personal with farm animals, but here you could stroke the magnificent coats of Suffolk, Leicester Longwool and Texel, and many more I’ve never heard of.
