Hans Küng remembered: ‘We will never see his like again’

I first came across Hans Küng when I was a teenager in a Baptist church and he questioned papal infallibility. I went on to read (most of) On Being a Christian.

 

Given my background, it was possibly his apparent iconoclasm – his reforming courage – that attracted me. It isn’t what kept me.
