Julia Langdon writes that Alastair Campbell "did more than almost any of the elected politicians of the time to keep his party in government for so long", Would she accept that Campbell's work in the production of the "dodgy dossier" that paved the way for the UK to join the US in the 2003 invasion of Iraq "did more than almost any of the elected politicians of the time" to disillusion the public with politics and pave the way for the rise of UKip and the Brexit Party and the referendum vote to leave the EU.
