No, I’ll never stop being astonished by nature. I mean, who could have guessed there are such things as aquatic moths? And that you can find them in your own garden? I was by the pond waiting for a dragonfly to visit, when a moth fell into the water. I fished it out. Two minutes later, the moth was fluttering on the pond surface again. I gently scooped it on to a stone to dry in the hot summer sun. A third time, the moth scrambled into the water. This time, the tiny animal dived.
