The school: St Elphege’s is in Wallington in the Archdiocese of Southwark. The infant and junior schools formed a federation in 2006, providing education for around 640 pupils aged three to 11. A further school, Regina Coeli Catholic Primary in neighbouring Croydon, joined in 2014 and the whole federation is soon to become a multi-academy trust. The proportion of pupils at St Elphege’s who receive the pupil premium for disadvantaged children is higher than average, as is the proportion of disabled pupils and those with special educational needs.
