Glimpses of Eden
The rain caught me on the lane. Dashing for the grey-walled church, I sheltered in the porch and peered out at the churchyard. One section had been left unmown for wildlife, and here the scatter of old, forgotten gravestones seemed to wade waist-deep through the midsummer grass.
