We are all consumed with grief and concern about the Ukrainian tragedy. What would Dorothy Day, the co-founder of the Catholic Worker movement and one of the great peacemakers of our time, have made of this and other contemporary conflicts?
Join her granddaughter Martha Hennessy for a discussion of Dorothy Day’s ideal of Gospel nonviolence.
Wednesday 30 March - 6.00pm - 7:00pm BST

Martha has travelled to Russia, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Palestine to understand the effects of war on ordinary people, and has been arrested and imprisoned for protesting against nuclear weapons, the torture of prisoners, and the use of starvation as a weapon of war in Yemen.
