The rise of right-wing populism in France, Germany and some parts of Eastern Europe has seen the growing incidence of anti-Jewish graffiti, desecration of Jewish graves, physical attacks and Holocaust denial.
Anti-Semitism is a vicious evil that has to be deplored and opposed wherever it occurs. That applies as much on the left of the political spectrum, for instance as in Britain, as on the right elsewhere in Europe.
