I am weary with the restrictions and all the faffing around that they require. I miss both the fullness of Mass and my fellow Mass-attenders

I agree with the writer-churches can’t be privileged over other groups. The church in Balham was not safe-if you look at the video on YouTube, where the service was closed down, the altar boys were crushed together and did not have masks. The police officer who spoke from the altar was reasonable and polite. Coincidentally, this church is in a London borough which this week has had an outbreak of the South African variant of coronavirus. What about social distancing as a protection for all of us? Churches have their part to play in keeping congregations and the wider public safe.
