What are your lockdown highlights? This might seem a strange question, but during the past year many people have been discovering, or rediscovering, a dynamic connection with nature. Amongst the pain and fear, we’ve been healed by our local environment and wildlife. Personally, I’ve been drawn constantly to running water. Just standing by the beck makes me feel part of the great wide world. I love to think that this trickle at my feet soon grows to a muscular young stream, then joins a river, which slips into a larger river before losing itself in the sea and all its global currents.
