Glimpses of Eden

Glimpses of Eden

Jonathan Tulloch’s reflections are always a delight and I share his thrill at seeing a kingfisher, though I have never been lucky enough to find a nest.
I have spent the current crisis in a enforced extended stay in Australia and have spent the time trying to get to know the exotic flora snd fauna of Queensland. Among my favourites are of course the ubiquitous kookaburra, but I have also spotted other members of the kingfisher family, the Sacred and the Collard.
I have enjoyed keeping up with my copy of the Tablet on line during my stay.
