Now.” Pausing outside Lush Cosmetics, the youthful voices suddenly quietened, and in the silence we heard another youngster’s cry – the wailing, “food-begging” call of a young peregrine falcon. Somewhere, high above York’s central business district, an adolescent peregrine was soliciting a meal from its parents.
