Why are the London editions of the national newspapers so scant in their coverage of the Scottish question? It’s not as if Scotland is a far-off country of which we know little. If you feel as I do about the possibility of separation, it’s flesh of our flesh. And the prospect of the country I call home being dismembered is as disturbing as it is distressing.I’ve no doubt that as we get closer to the September 2014 referendum, England will pick up more of the sounds of the arguments north of the Cheviots.
