This novel addresses two common, often overlapping and sometimes contradictory concerns among today’s millennial generation. One, if you believe the likes of Edward Snowden and Julian Assange, is that ever-more intrusive governments are constantly spying on us. The other, if you take note of the likes of Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, is that sopra-governmental but equally panoptical-minded corporations seek to do likewise by harvesting personal data.The story intertwines the fates of three characters, all of whom encounter in one manner or other The Committee, a shadowy, global cabal that its detractors believe aspires to collect, privatise and commodify all personal information.
