In 2009, Penguin published The Collected Stories of William Trevor, 133 of them. In 2016 he died, and now, two years later, we have an offering of his final 10. In addition to these, he published 14 novels, and while these are considered exceptional, I suspect that it is for the stories he will be remembered, for most of them are marvellous.
