Sineia do Vale of the Wapichana people is the Environmental Manager of the Indigenous Council of Roraima (CIR), an organisation supported by the UK aid agency, CAFOD. For over two decades, Sineia has worked on local environmental protection and land management in the Brazilian Amazon, ensuring public climate policies are appropriate to indigenous peoples, that their voices are heard, and these policies translate to local actions.
