Aili Winstanley Channer is The Tablet’s Charles Plater Trust Intern. She has previously worked as a researcher for Al Jazeera’s earthrise series. She studied English literature at Oxford, intellectual history at the Warburg Institute, and the anthropology and economics of sustainability at SOAS.
