Easter schedules in radioland offer all the usual amenities and several more left-field items. BBC?Radio 2 marks Good Friday with two hours of poetry and music in At the Foot of the Cross (7-9 p.m.); Breakfast’s Dan Walker brings together everyone from Young Choristers of the Year to Mobo winners and poetry slammers.

Meanwhile Cardinal Vincent Nichols is booked to deliver Pause For Thought on Easter Sunday, part of Good Morning Sunday (also Radio 2, 6-9 a.m.), where the Revd Kate Bottley (inset) and Jason Mohammad’s other guests include the Revd Richard Coles, who will be talking about the loss of his partner, David, and reflecting on the Easter message.
