Billed as a response to our struggle to cope with the emotional consequences of a year of grief and sequestration, this segment (20 March) of the ongoing BBC World Service Festival boasted a relatively unusual format. Presenter Nuala McGovern’s guests were spiritual author Eckhart Tolle, Dr Shefali Tsabary (clinical psychologist with an interest in ­Eastern philosophy) and Sister Dang Nghiem (doctor turned Buddhist nun); and their remit was to conduct a kind of live counselling session in which they offered advice to callers from around the world.
