What a marvel that nature, working closely with the BBC, has produced Sir David Attenborough, now 91, to illuminate for us the marvels of the natural world. Sixteen years after the wonderful first series of Blue Planet, Sir David has returned to BBC1, looking not a day older, with Blue Planet II, to show us some more extraordinary, amazing, mind-boggling scenes from below the surface of the world’s oceans.
