Nursery schools radicalising children

In a heated debate triggered by a study which showed that a number of Muslim nursery schools in Vienna were radicalising children, Cardinal Christoph Schönborn has spoken out strongly in favour of regulatory measures for religious education in kindergartens, writes Christa Pongratz-Lippitt.

The state-financed study found that several of the 150 private Muslim nursery schools in Vienna were radicalising children and teaching them not to accept the outside world because it was “evil”.
