Schönborn: war declared on Christianity and civilisation

The ATTACKS in Paris were a “declaration of war” not only on Christianity but on Western civilisation and Islam, Cardinal Christoph Schönborn said in Vienna, writes Christa Pongratz-Lippitt. He joined a crowd of 600 outside the French Embassy in Vienna in a show of solidarity and to pray for victims. “We must not allow our society to be taken hostage or give up our Christian values just because we are under threat”, he told the Kronen Zeitung daily.
